The United States Military is an exciting place to
minister. The chaplain, while serving
God as a minister of the Gospel, also serves his country. Your interest in becoming a military chaplain
is an encouragement to the FBFI Commission on Chaplains.
As you are aware, one of the requirements for becoming a
chaplain is an ecclesiastical endorsement.
The FBFI Commission on Chaplains provides this endorsement for
fundamental Baptists. The men endorsed
by the FBFI not only represent their home churches, but hundreds of other FBFI
churches; therefore, we must be careful.
The acceptance process will take time.
However, it is not time wasted, for we get to know you, and you will get
to know us.
On the FBFI website you can find the following items:
-
An instruction sheet, outlining the application process
-
An FBFI Chaplaincy Application
Please email
in order to obtain a copy of the
FBFI Chaplain's Manual.
It is our prayer that God will bless you as you begin the
process of becoming a military chaplain.
We are here to help you. If we
can be of further assistance, please contact us.
Sincerely yours,
Dr. John C. Vaughn
